Logos, colours and how to use them.

Writing about Huddle, making a poster for your department, or putting us on a list of campus apps? Everything you need is on this page.

The name

In a sentence, write Huddle, with a capital H, like any other name. The logo spells it in lowercase, huddle, but that's only the logo. Don't write it in capitals or split it into two words.

Huddle is made by Voyager Technologies.

The logo

The h on a rounded tile. Every file comes as an SVG, which stays sharp at any size, and a 1024px PNG for tools that can't open SVGs.

Using the logo

Leave some space around it, at least a quarter of its width on every side, and don't make it smaller than 24 pixels or about 8mm in print.

Use the files as they are. Please don't:

  • stretch or squash it, or rotate it
  • change its colours to anything outside the palette below
  • add shadows, outlines or gradients
  • redraw the h, or put another word or logo inside the tile
  • put it on a busy photo where it's hard to see

Colours

Pine and honey do most of the work. Cream and ink are for backgrounds and text.

Pine #022C22 The main brand colour
Pine 700 #065F46 Links and buttons
Honey #E8B05C The accent
Cream #FAFAF7 Backgrounds
Ink #101310 Text

Typeface

Your campus, online.

Huddle uses Onest, a free font from Google Fonts, in the app and on this site. Headlines are semibold, body text is regular.

What's fine, and what to ask about

You can use the name and logo to write about Huddle, review it, link to it, or tell students to download it. Course reps and student groups can put it on posters and flyers that point people to the app.

Don't use them in a way that suggests we made, sponsor or approve something we didn't, and don't use them on another app, product or merchandise. If you're not sure, or you want to work with us on something, write to hello@huddle.ng. The terms have the full rules.
